SPR 1 (Special Purpose Rifle Course)
The Long Range Precision Rifle/Special Purpose Rifle Course is designed to equip shooters with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective engagement of targets at extended ranges. This comprehensive training program covers the principles of precision shooting, from the fundamentals of marksmanship to advanced techniques for optimizing rifle performance at long distances.
Participants will learn how to apply ballistic calculations, refine their shooting techniques, and utilize advanced equipment to achieve accurate, consistent results in various environmental conditions.

Day 1: Introduction to Long Range Precision Shooting (CLASSROOM - 4 HOURS)

Prerequisites:
- Basic firearms safety and handling experience.
- Own or access to a precision rifle, scope, and necessary ammunition.
- Physical ability to perform shooting drills and exercises.
Materials Provided:
- Access to ballistic calculators and rangefinders during training.
- Targets and range fees.
Materials to Bring To ALL Portions of the Class:
- Precision rifle with appropriate caliber and ammunition (300+ rounds) - (77gr HPBT Recommended)
- Required Shooting gear: bipods, scope/optic capable of at least 5x magnification
- Recommended but optional gear: shooting bags, rest, range finder
- Weather-appropriate clothing and personal gear.
- Water/Snacks as necessary.
